Troubleshooting
Known Crash Causes
The software listed below are known to cause crashes due to attempted injection and manipulation of audio/video/overlays. If you are encountering a crash please make sure you have disabled these.
- MSI Nahimic audio tools
- Asus Strix OSD
- Asus ROG OSD
Failed to create OpenGL context
If you encounter the error shown above or one similar you may not meet the graphical requirements of REM4P. REM4P does have a software rendering option but can offer no support for graphical and performance issues using this mode. To enable software rendering mode you can do one of the following
- Start REM4P using the “REM4P (software)” shortcut in the start menu
- Run Rem4pLauncher.exe with the parameter ‘-software’ without the quotes.
