2.6.Rumble #

The Rumble section allows you to add rumble to controllers. Currently the Dualshock 4 and xInput controllers are supported.

Adding a Rumble device

To add a new controller for rumble support click the ‘Detect Device’ button on the Rumble tab.

When the following prompt appears press a button on the controller you wish to add.

When an input has been selected the selected device will show under ‘Device’.

You can now configure the rumble setting under the ‘Rumble Settings’ group.

Enabled

This checkbox controls whether rumble is enabled for the selected controller

Invert

This setting will invert the rumble output when checked, on a standard controller this will swap the left and right rumble motors.

Rumble Scale %

This setting controls the force of the rumble, if you wish to reduce the default amount of force applied to the controller you can reduce this. Measured as a percentage so 50% will reduce the force by half.

With the above settings configured you can now click the ‘Add’ button to add the rumble device to the config.

The controller will now be listed in the grid below.

The current rumble settings will then update to reflect the highlighted device row.

Make the desired changes to these values then click the ‘Update’ button to apply and save the changes to the config.

Deleting a Rumble Device

To delete rumble settings for a device highlight the row as when editing so it looks like the following:

The ‘Remove’ button will then be enabled, click this to remove the selected device from the config.

You can select multiple rows at once to remove several mappings in one go. The shortcut CTRL + A will highlight all mappings.
